1ConsultationWeek 1
A free, no-pressure conversation. We meet at your home or in our Prescott showroom to talk about what you're trying to accomplish — style, layout, budget, timeline. 45–60 minutes, free, showroom or in-home.
What we'll need from you:
- Inspiration photos or Pinterest boards (optional)
- A rough budget range
- Timeline expectations
- A floor plan or sketch if you have one
2MeasureWeek 1–2
Once you've decided to move forward, we come back with measuring tools and document your space precisely — walls, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, ceiling heights, obstructions, and wall squareness. Cabinet design lives or dies on accurate measurements.
What we'll need from you:
- About one hour of access to the space
- Confirmation of any structural changes
- Appliance decisions
- Sink and faucet selections
3DesignWeek 2–3
We turn your measurements and ideas into a real design. You'll see 3D renderings of every angle, swatches for the door style and finish you've chosen, and a fixed-price quote. We usually go through 1–2 design revisions.
When you approve the design, we collect a 50% deposit. That deposit covers your cabinet order with the manufacturer (or our shop, for custom builds).
What we'll need from you:
- Design feedback within a week
- Final material decisions
- Countertop, backsplash, and tile selections
- Signed agreement and 50% deposit
4BuildWeek 3–8
Your cabinets are now in production — either at Bertch (Iowa), Crown, or in our Prescott shop for custom work. Crown is typically the fastest at 4–6 weeks. Bertch averages 6–8 weeks. Custom in-house builds depend entirely on scope.
What we'll need from you:
- Schedule any contractor work before install
- Confirm install dates
- Plan a temporary kitchen setup if needed
- Patience during the wait — it's worth it
5InstallFinal week
Cabinets arrive at our shop, we inspect every box for damage and accuracy, then our install crew brings everything to your home and puts it together. A typical kitchen install takes 3–5 days depending on scope. Bath vanities are usually 1 day. Built-ins and mantels are 1–2 days each.
Hardware installation and finishing happen after your countertops go in. The remaining 50% balance is due at install completion.
What we'll need from you:
- Clear access to the work area
- Decisions on finishing details
- A walkthrough for punch-list items
- Final 50% payment
